Hello! We need your help to raise money to support our service trip to Latvia. As future social workers, we are beyond excited to have this opportunity to travel to another country to help those in need. We are 20 students from Salem State University that want to make a difference to the children growing up in orphanages in Latvia. We are hoping to raise money to travel to Latvia in March 2022, to do three important things. First, meet social work students at a Latvian University and hear from those professors on what is being done to help these children- policy and practice wise. Second, to immerse ourselves in the culture through several museums and historic sites. Lastly, and most importantly, to participate in a service project with a Riga orphanage.
Thank you and if you have any questions please let us know.

Cost of Admission
One of the museums we will be touring is the Museum of the Riga Ghetto and Holocaust in Latvia. The cost of admission to this museum is 5 euros. This level of donation will secure one student's ticket into this museum. 5 Euros is about 5.79 in American dollars.
In addition to touring museums and performing acts of service, each student will be attending social work lectures at the Riga Stradins University, widely known as the largest university in eastern Europe.
This donation will help cover the cost of much-needed supplies for 12 orphanages. We hope to outfit each orphanage with much-needed supplies for the children including vitamins, toothbrushes, pajamas, and winter coats.
