One of the museums we will be touring is the Museum of the Riga Ghetto and Holocaust in Latvia. The cost of admission to this museum is 5 euros. This level of donation will secure one student's ticket into this museum. 5 Euros is about 5.79 in American dollars.

In addition to touring museums and performing acts of service, each student will be attending social work lectures at the Riga Stradins University, widely known as the largest university in eastern Europe.

Latvian for "Welcome", this donation will help welcome our Salem State Students into Latvia in March of 2022.

The House of the Blackheads was destroyed in 1941 and then further destroyed in 1948, and actually used crowdfunding to rebuild.

Latvia marked the end of their war for independence and unveiled this monument in 1935. Many official ceremonies take place at this monument in the heart of Riga.

This donation will help cover the cost of much-needed supplies for 12 orphanages. We hope to outfit each orphanage with much-needed supplies for the children including vitamins, toothbrushes, pajamas, and winter coats.

This level of donation could provide one orphanage (there are 12) with enough winter coats, hats, mittens and boots so that no child is cold this winter.
