The OT Class of 2018 needs your help in raising funds for their Graduate Research Conference on March 24, 2018!
This is the first year where the cohort combines the collaboration between BS/MS Bridge students and the Direct-Entry MS students. This means the Research Conference will be bigger than ever!!!
The Graduate Research Conference is a pivotal component of the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy curriculum. Students present the results of their year-long research projects as part of the conference.
Over 300 occupational therapy practitioners, ancillary health service personnel, faculty members, and students from across New England attend this exciting annual event. While planning this event, students are responsible for, and learn to:
• Secure a prominent keynote speaker •Procure vendors • Determine food and media needs • Create a brochure • Organize the conference structure • Develop and disseminate participant surveys
Students are also responsible for raising the funds to cover the costs of such an ambitious endeavor. Costs include but are not limited to:
• Hotel meeting room space, technology, and food • Keynote speaking fee and travel expenses • Decorations • Marketing
