Yeannakopoulos Richards Honors Challenge

Dr. Adrian and Efrosine ’59, '62G Richards have generously committed $250,000 to preserve elements of the existing Honors program that we value and that are successful and also launch new initiatives to reach the full potential. In honor of this exceptional generosity, the Honors Center in the Berry Learning Commons will be officially named the Efrosine Yeannakopoulos Center for the Commonwealth Honors Program.

The Richards have included a provision to generously establish a $30,000 challenge grant to encourage increased support of the Honors Programming Fund which provides annual support for Honors scholars initiatives.

The Richards Challenge will match TWO-to-one all new and increased annual gifts to the Honors Programming Fund received up to $30,000.

Please accept the challenge by making a gift, however small or large, that will continue the good work we do for our Honors students, from study-and-travel opportunities to leadership opportunities to sustaining our supportive learning community. The impact of your gift will be doubled by the Richards challenge match and go that much further for our scholars.

Thank you for taking the challenge and playing a significant role in the success of our students.
