Empower SSU Undergraduates to Travel, Present & Connect
Description
This project will raise funds to support undergraduate students who are selected to present their research, scholarship, or creative work at academic conferences. Funding will not only help eliminate financial hurdles that otherwise might be involved in traveling to and attending conferences, but will also enable more Salem State students to disseminate their work to a wider audience of academics. Conference participation can provide students with valuable opportunities to present their scholarship, receive feedback, develop professional and academic connections, and gain experience communicating their work beyond the classroom. This project will further increase opportunities for students to travel and enhance Salem State's culture of undergraduate scholarship and research.
