Have you ever been in a situation where you had to take out loans to face an unexpected emergency? Do you sometimes worry about how you will afford basic necessities?
Too many college students are struggling financially across the country, including by being food and housing insecure --Salem State is no exception.
Our campaign is raising money for the campus Student Emergency Fund. Since its creation during the pandemic, the fund has helped hundreds of hard-working Vikings facing unexpected medical expenses, housing and food insecurity, or who were unable to pay for basic school supplies.
When students don’t have to worry about finances, they can focus on their education.
