Help HCC Fund their Annual Haitian Heritage Month Celebration

The Haitian Cultural Club (HCC) is a safe space for Haitian students on campus to celebrate each other and our culture. We have events on campus every month, like dance workshops, paint nights, movie nights, bals, and more. Everyone is invited to join us in this journey of celebrating and empowering the Haitian students on campus.

The HCC Bal event is the only event on campus that celebrates Haitian Heritage Month. As the Haitian Cultural Club, it is our responsibility to honor this month by organizing a traditional Haitian concert called Bal. Our goal with this event is to commemorate a very important part of Caribbean culture, music. Each Bal we host on campus is an opportunity to introduce more students to one of Haiti's most popular music genres Konpa, to build community, and celebrate all the HCC members who have been doing incredible work all year.

With your support, we will be able to purchase decorations and rent out furniture for the space we are planning to use.

Please consider donating to our goal of sharing our culture with the Salem State community.
