The Veterans' Second Mission Fund has been established through the generosity of donors Neal DeChillo, PhD and Mary H. DeChillo, MSW. The fund will provide financial support to the Veterans' Affairs Office and its mission to enhance the educational experience of student veterans at Salem State.
With a focus on individualized student attention, our veterans' affairs staff assists current and former members of the armed forces, as well as survivors and dependents, access both state and federal education benefit programs. Consistently cited as a military-friendly school, we will continue to welcome America’s veterans to our campus, for time and again they reward us for our efforts on their behalf through their accomplishments in the classroom and beyond.
Salem State values our veteran students and their families and is dedicated to providing resources and services to assist them in achieving their academic and career goals. However, the resources that we provide unfortunately come with a cost. Please help us keep our student veterans in a place of honor and focus here at Salem State by making your gift to the Veterans Second Mission Fund today.
