Given the hardships of the past year and a half, many college students and families are struggling financially. Salem State's Food Pantry is in need of new donations to provide for students who may be experiencing food insecurity.
Students in the First Year Seminar on Poverty & Philanthropy are once again raising funds to keep the food pantry well stocked. The pantry provides non-perishable food items, toiletries, and famine hygiene products. A 2018 study revealed that 38% of Salem State students are food insecure.
100% of the donations we receive from this campaign will go directly to the SSU pantry.
