This school year has been extremely challenging for everyone, especially financially unstable college students. In particular, since the beginning of the pandemic, the campus food pantry has been heavily utilized and it desperately needs new donations.
Students in the First Year Seminar on Poverty & Philanthropy have come together to raise money to keep the food pantry well-stocked. A 2018 study revealed that 38% of Salem State students are food insecure—we can do better! 100% of the donations we receive from this crowdfunding campaign will go directly to the food pantry.
