Today is March 25th and we would have (should have) been arriving at ACDA in Vermont. We would have joined in on amazing dance classes, met wonderful people from other colleges, and rehearsed our dances that would have been performed later tonight. This is such a loss of learning and community! We are moving on, but the loss is still there. I am amazed by the dance community who has showed up online offering classes and support. This is what dancers do! 

As artists we know and understand how to be resilient, how to problem solve, and how think of creative solutions. We understand how to process and express difficult situations through our art form, so others can bear witness and also feel supported, comforted and understood. Artists dream up possibilities and hope for the future. 

Your donation to this crowdfunding campaign does not go unnoticed. Your gift has made an impact merely through its gesture of support and kindness, and will be used for next year's conference. I personally have felt so much goodness in seeing the donations pour in. I truly thank you!!! Our students thank you, and Salem State thanks you.

Olivia Fasino is a junior dance major who is excited to attend ACDA! Here is what she has to say about the opportunity,  "I am honored to be invited to attend ACDA.
