Joined by 15 Salem State University students, our ServeUP team has the incredible opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico for an alternative spring break trip experience. There is a significant need to restore the devastation that was left by recent hurricanes on the island of Puerto Rico. We will be working with a non-profit, disaster relief organization called Saint Bernard’s Project, joining together in rebuilding lives through rebuilding homes.
We are all passionate about this opportunity and feel a calling in our hearts to respond with compassion to the needs present on the island of Puerto Rico. We would like to invite you to join our team and help make this trip possible through your financial partnership. We hope you know that your contribution, no matter the size, will get us closer to our goal. Thank you for your investment- we cannot express our gratitude enough!
This donation will allow students to get a taste for Puerto Rico's culture through traditional cuisine.
Once in Puerto Rico, we use transportation to get us to our job sites each day. This will help cover the van rental, tolls, fuel and parking.
This will cover the cost of one student's place to sleep after long days of work.
This will cover the remaining cost of the airfare round-trip for one student.
