The Student Veteran Organization at Salem State University is a chapter of The Student Veterans of America (SVA). The SVA is a coalition of student leaders, chapter-based organizations with over 1,500 different chapters across the globe. The SVA helps veterans to make the most of their transition to civilian life, funds scholarships, hosts leadership institutions, conducts groundbreaking research, and more.
At Salem State University, our Student Veteran Organization helps to assist military-connected students with their transition into higher education, achieve their educational goals, and go beyond.
The members of the Student Veteran Organization are hoping to raise money to help cover any additional expenses during our annual trip to the Student Veterans of American National Conference (SVA). The funds will also be used to enhance our program and help our members become stronger leaders and to better advocate for the military-connected population on campus. Events the organization has hosted in the past include a free campus-wide BBQ, social events at the VFW, and collaborations with the Veterans' Affairs Office.
With all that said, every dollar you're able to donate helps take care of all of our military-connected students.
