What your $100 donation means to our students.

December 09, 2015

When you donate $100 to the Diversity and Multicultural Affairs office's student success initiatives and advocacy programs, you are becoming a Difference Maker.

That $100 helps two students (like the folks pictured here) go on a Cultural Immersion trip. Last year, DMA's BEES (Bold. Educated. Empowered. Sisters) went on a trip to Boston's Huntington Theatre to see "The Colored Museum" by George C. Wolfe.

For weeks after, students were talking about how they were able to laugh together, be inspired together, and acknowledge African- American history together. They learned new things, traveled in their local community, hung out with like-minded peers, and even recruited new sisters!

Cultural immersion trips help our students succeed during their time at Salem State.

Support DMA. Support our students.

$300 will provide a student with a book scholarship. Many of our students are excited to attend class, but find books can be rather expensive. A book scholarship can help offset the cost of books.

$500
