Alternative Spring Break Funding
2016 Alternative Spring Break Trips!
We need your support!
The Salem State University Community Service Group is sponsoring two Alternative Spring Break Trips in 2016. Rather than spend our Spring Break vacationing, we are working to give people a home, something that many may take for granted.
Community Service Group is made up of students who come together to work on service projects in Salem and beyond. Next March, we are traveling to Kansas City, Missouri to work with the St. Joseph Habitat for Humanity for the third time, and returning to the lower ninth ward of New Orleans to aid hurricane victims with St. Bernard Project for the fifth time. In preparation for these trips we work with North Shore Habitat for Humanity, our longtime partners, on weekend building projects to support local affordable housing too.
These trips are entirely funded by students, which is why we need your help. Your donations will help us travel and volunteer to give families a place to call home. For more information about Community Service Group email service@salemstate.edu
