Join Salem State University graduate students, graduate program alumni, faculty, and friends to network and celebrate the success of the graduate program. Come reminisce and reconnect with old friends and make new contacts while building a stronger, more vibrant SSU graduate community!
This Graduate Student Celebration will bring current graduate students, graduate alumni, faculty, and employers in the community together to network with each other and celebrate the successes of the Salem State University Graduate community. This event will provide opportunities for students to connect with alumni and employers in their prospective fields, build new contacts and gain valuable insight into their future career paths. The Graduate Student Celebration will foster further connections among students, alumni and faculty that will cultivate lifelong relationships between students and the university, and build a robust community within the Salem State University Graduate School.
By collaborating with university departments and current graduate students on this project, existing relationships will be strengthened and new partnerships will transpire. Both faculty and employers in the community have expressed an interest in increasing their opportunities for engagement. From a needs assessment by the School of Graduate Studies of its graduate students, we know that students want to feel a sense of belonging to their academic departments and a sense of community at Salem State University.
