Feed A Viking

We would like to invite you to help us end hunger on the Salem State University campus. As the First Year Seminar on Global Poverty and Charitable Giving, we thought it would be an amazing idea to raise money to support SSU food pantry. Our goal is $500, but any amount will help provide food and toiletries for students in need.  

It has been brought to our attention that despite meal plans and dining halls on campus, some students are not able to provide these basic needs for themselves. It is much more of a problem than we are led to believe. A recent survey about hunger and/or housing insecurities reports that 38% of Salem State Students are food insecure and 36% of Salem State Students are housing insecure.

Please help us spread the word about this ongoing issue.
