What happens if a project is overfunded?
If a project raises more than its stated funding goal, we will work with the project sponsor to determine whether the surplus should be used to expand or enhance the project, or reserved for use by a similar project or projects in the future.
What if a project doesn't meet its funding goal?
Funds raised will still be released for use to the project. In the event that a funding shortfall prevents the project from taking place at all, the money raised will be retained by the sponsoring team for use on a project or projects with similar goals.
